Connecting Clarify to Salesforce

In order to edit Salesforce articles you need to connect authorize Clarify to work with Salesforce. In the current beta version of Clarify this is done through the Sharing preference pane. Eventually Clarify for Knowledge will only allow you to connect to Salesforce and will provide a more streamlined way making that connection.

Open Clarify Preferences

On OS X the preferences are available from the Clarify menu.

On Windows the preferences are available from the Edit menu.

Create a sharing account

From the Share tab, click on the + button.

Select "Salesforce Knowledge"

Select "Salesforce Knowledge"

Click the Authorize button

Firewall

If you have a firewall installed you may be prompted to allow Clarify to access the network. You must allow Clarify access in order for Clarify to complete the authorization process with Salesforce.

You will be taken to the Salesforce site. You may need to login. After logging in, click the Allow button.

You can now close the Preference window.
