How do I Provide a Link to a Chapter in a Manual?
Occasionally you may want to provide a link to user that just shows the contents of a single chapter in a manual. This lesson will show you how to do so.
Select Manual
Go to the manuals tab in the administration area and select a manual.
Select Information For the Desired Chapter
NOTE: This icon will only be available if the chapter is visible. You cannot share links to hidden chapters.
Click/Copy Link
If the manual has been placed in a space then a link will appear. Copy or click on the link to view only the contents of the chapter. The title has the following information:
1. The space title ("ScreenSteps").
2. The manual title ("My New Manual").
3. The chapter title ("Getting Started").
Chapter Example
Here is an example of what that chapter looks like. Even though this manual has several chapters, only the Getting Started chapter is displayed. The user can view the full contents of the manual by clicking any of the link highlighted above.
