Right click on the image you would like to edit and select Edit in External Editor.
NOTE: This menu item may say Select External Editor if you are using a version of ScreenSteps prior to 1.1.1.
If you haven't previously selected and external image editor, select one from the file dialog. In this example I am selecting Adobe Photoshop CS.
The image will be opened in the image editor. Once you save the changes to the file they will be reflected in ScreenSteps.
NOTE: You must save the file with the same name and file type for ScreenSteps to recognize the changes. If you edit images in an application that supports layers then you must flatten the file when you save it.
If you would like to change the external editor you are using select Preferences.
Choose Select to change the application that ScreenSteps will use for its external image editor.
