Granting Specific Users Access to Lessons in a Manual

This lesson will teach you how to grant "Reader" users permission to view lesson in manual you have created on ScreenSteps Live. Before doing this you must have already added created some reader accounts and at least one manual.

NOTE: This feature is not available for Free or Individual accounts.

Select Add Readers to this Manual. NOTE: You will only see this link if the manual is marked as private.

Drag Users/Groups Onto Manual

Drag the reader or group you would like to add to the manual from the list on the right (1) to the manual reader section (2).

Available Readers

The Available Readers list will display all of the readers on your account (1). Admins and Authors don't show up since they have permission to view all lessons. The list will also display groups that you have created.

Here you can see that I have added the reader "bob" to this manual. When "bob" logs in he will be able to view the manual. Select Remove to remove the reader or group from the manual.

All Done

That's it. Once you have finished adding readers/groups to the manual select Back to Manual.
