Editing a Lesson

Go to your account page and login. Then select the edit icon next to the lesson you would like to edit.

1. Lesson Title - Click on the title to change it.
2. Allow Comments for this Lesson? - Checking this box will allow viewers to post comments for this lesson.
3. Lesson Permissions are as follows:

Available in my public feed - The lesson will show up in your All Lessons list for anyone who comes to your ScreenSteps site. It will also be displayed and searchable from the main ScreenSteps site.

Keep private (unless it is part of a topic) - Only Admins and Authors on your account will be able to see this lesson unless you place it in a Topic. We use this if we are posting a lesson that isn't quite finished yet or one that deals with sensitive information.

Hide from public feed but I can send links to my friends - The lesson won't show up in your All Lessons list or on the main ScreenSteps site but anyone who has the full url to this lesson can view it. We use this if we are just sending out a quick tech support answer or some other lesson that really would only apply to one user.

5. Author - You cannot change this.

You can also add tags. Just enter a tag and hit return. Only add one tag at a time and do not include commas.

Here the tag has been added. You can delete the tag by clicking on the x.
