Spell Check

This lesson will teach you how to use Spell Check in ScreenSteps.

First, select Check Spelling from the Edit menu.

Spell check will automatically start.

The top field (1) is the text from my lesson. It has highlighted the misspelled word.

The field below (2) has a list of suggested spellings. I select the correct item and click Correct (3).

The spelling is corrected and then next misspelled word is found.

Other controls on this page include:

1. Ignore: spell check won't check for the selected word anymore.

2. Learn: the word will be added to the spell check dictionary.

3. Forget: the word will be removed from the spell check dictionary.

Here it has found where I typed "mo" instead of "me. But none of the suggestions are correct.

I can type "me" in the replace field (1) and then click Correct (2). The word will be corrected.

Once spell check has completed you will see this message.
