Redacting Information

Introduction

Sometimes, when you are preparing visual tutorials, personal information may appear in your screen shots. This lesson will show you a simple way to redact information.

Select Rectangle Tool

Open the Image Editor and select the rectangle tool.

Draw Rectangle

Draw a rectangle over the area wish to redact.

Select Annotation Properties

Open the Annotation Properties palette.

Adjust Settings

1. Uncheck the Border

2. Check Fill

Adjust Color

Adjust the color of the Fill by clicking on the Fill color icon (1).

Your information will be hidden when you export your lesson.
