How to Capture a Menu

This lesson will teach you how to capture a menu for another application using ScreenSteps.

By default the capture button will be set to "Instant Capture". Change this to some sort of delay. A delay of up to 8 seconds is possible.

In this example I have set a delay of 6 seconds.

Select the Capture Icon to start the capture.

You will see a countdown begin in the middle of the screen.

Select the application and menu you would like to capture before the timer expires. Hold the menu open. Whatever is on the screen when the timer expires is what will be captured.

When the timer expires the cursor will turn to a crosshair and you can capture an image just as you normally would.
