Responding to Comments for a Lesson
This lesson will show you how to quickly respond to comments from within ScreenSteps Live and quickly add links to other lessons in your manual. We often get comments on lessons that are really questions about how to use our application. Many times, the answer to the user's question is available in another lesson in our manual. ScreenSteps Live makes it very easy to paste that reference into a comment or email and answer the customer's question.
You can view your comments from the Account > Comments tab or the lesson itself. In this example we will show you how to do this from the Accounts > Comments tab.
Respond to Comment
Scroll down to a comment you want to respond to and select Respond.
Select Enter a Comment
You will be taken to the Lesson - Edit screen for the lesson that has the comment. Select Enter Comment to jump down on the page to the comment entry area.
Respond With a Comment or Email
You can enter a comment to respond (1) or just click on the person's email address to send them an email response (2).
Add a Reference to Another Lesson
If you would like to reference another lesson that is in the same manual as the current lesson, select Show Manuals for this Lesson.
Select Lesson
The manuals for the lesson will slide out below. Select the manual you want to reference (1). Then select the link icon for the lesson you want to reference (2).
Copy Text
A text field will side out with the html code containing a link to the lesson. Copy it.
Paste
Paste the reference into the comment or email and send it off.
