Tagging an Event Method 1: Create Event and Then Tag
Introduction
This lesson will teach you one method of tagging event. This method involves first creating an event and then adding a tag to it.
Position Playhead
Position the playhead at the location where you would like to create the event.
Select New Event
Select the New Event button. A new event will be created.
Here is a screen shot of the newly created event.
Change the Event End Time
You can click on the right border of the event and drag to change the end time of the event.
Here is an screen shot of the event after I have increased its duration by dragging to the right.
Open Tag Palette
Open the Tag Palette by clicking on the Tag Palette button.
Add Tags
Select a tag from the Tag List.
Drag Tag into Event Tag List
Drag the Tag into the Event Tag List.
SHORTCUT: You can also just press the function key that is assigned to the tag. In this example pressing F1 would add the "Begin T-Funnel" tag to the current event.
